Living with a Star: Space Weather and the Earth

The Sun drives the complex phenomena like Solar flares and coronal mass ejections. These affect the space-weather, producing dazzling auroras and disruptions in communication, navigation systems, and power grids on Earth. Understanding the Sun’s activity is critical for predicting these impacts. This talk presents how solar activity influences the Earth and will highlight the various solar observation missions that are helping us better understand the Sun and space weather.
